Perennnial box


Perennial is the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping all those who work in the horticulture trade and their families during times of need. It is described as a ‘lifeline’ by those it helps.

We have worked with Perennial since 2012, providing PR and communications support for all of Perennial’s activities including its fundraising campaigns, services, gardens, events, products and volunteering. We have become a trusted extension of the in-house marketing team, providing communications strategy, creative planning, social media support and media relations, as well as efficiently turning around copy for a wide variety of communications.

Highlights include launching and promoting HortAid as the annual fundraising campaign and implementing PR activities around the charity’s 175th anniversary, which included a floral exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, resulting in extensive coverage in horticulture trade media, as well as mainstream gardening coverage in consumer magazines, national newspapers, TV and radio. We are regularly called on to write Perennial News, the charity’s monthly magazine and we wrote all of the copy for Perennial’s website, which re-launched in 2014, as well as continuing to help steer the direction of the website’s development.

Over this period, awareness of the charity has increased significantly among its primary audience, the horticulture trade, and it has exceeded its fundraising targets year on year.
